Fiber optic laser systems with a power of 10kW or more, coupled with their attractiveness in terms of optical output regulation, can achieve real-time energy distribution changes for welding applications, which also supports sales growth. Low power sealed CO lasers and fiber lasers used for marking and engraving increased by 3% and 8%, respectively.

With the rapid recovery of China's economy, the macro processing market, led by fiber lasers for metal sheet metal cutting, grew by 3% from a loss of - 1% in 2019. Among them, laser metal cutting accounts for 41% of the market share, which is also a leading application of high-power fiber lasers.
